Live Life Get Active is a private social Initiative that looks to build a Fitter, Healthier and Happier Australia. With the help of Local Government and Corporate Australia, they provide free health, fitness and nutritional education both online and in the park.
Catering for beginners to the more advanced, young and old, there is a mixture of small-group classes each weekday you can join for free. The trainers are fun, encouraging and actively want to help.
Boxing classes are one of the most effective methods to not only lose weight but to tone muscles and build strength. You work in pairs through a mixture of combinations and drills. This workout uses your upper and lower body, builds your heart fitness and drops those unwanted kilos.
Active X Training
This training technique, conducted in a 9-section grid, pushes you to give your very best. It’s all about bursts of exercise followed by short recovery periods. Cross Active will keep your heart pumping and will burn more fat in less time. Trainers will instruct, encourage and help you every step of the way.
There are many styles of yoga and a combination is offered. Classes are designed to increase flexibility and reduce the risk of injury. Yoga is an excellent way to stretch and strengthen your body, focus your mind and wipe away stress. If you have never done yoga before, this is a great way to give it a try.
